MIAMI – Homestead-Miami Speedway will light up red, white and blue this Fourth of July as the City of Homestead’s annual “Race to the 4th” Independence Day Bash returns to the Speedway for the tenth consecutive year. The event will take place Thursday, July 4 from 6-10 p.m., and admission and parking is free for all guests.
Local artist Ricky Valido and the Hialeah Hillbillies will kick off the evening, performing their country hits on stage. Food trucks will offer a variety of summer treats, and kids will have plenty of entertainment with amusement rides and carnival games. Everyone in attendance will be treated with the best fireworks show in South Florida—a stunning display of pyrotechnics synced to a mix of pop hits and patriotic tunes to cap off the night’s festivities.
Perched eight stories above turn one of the championship track, the Champions Club, which offers a preferred view of the fireworks show, will host a special VIP event. A limited number of $20 tickets for guests 13 and older are now available for purchase at the City of Homestead Parks and Recreation Department, 350 SE 6th Avenue, Homestead, FL 33030.
