Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS) is one of America's premier motorsports facilities. The Speedway hosts two of the world's largest motorsports events: Ford Championship Weekend- the NASCAR Championship and Homestead-Miami's SpeedJam- the Indy Car Series season-opener. | DESCRIPTION: | Assist the Marketing/ Promotion team with promotions, advertising, and outdoor signage distribution in preparation for the Homestead-Miami Speedway's Ford Championship Weekend. The "Street Team" will work with the Promotions Managers in organizing and activating HMS promotions around the South Florida area leading up to Ford Championship weekend held on November 14-16, 2008. | | SKILLS: | Communication skills, detailed orientated, and a strong work ethic. | | STARTING DATE & HOURS: | Available Immediately. Team members will be required to work some nights and weekends and must be available during the major events. Gain valuable experience and/or receive college credit.
