Only Three Points Separate the Two Drivers. One Race Remains.

View the top photos of the Stewart / Edwards rivalry.

Once again, it all happens here at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Three razor-thin points separate Tony Stewart and Carl Edwards in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. With only Sunday's race remaining, it looks like this year will culminate in yet another memorable down-to-the-wire finish, and the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway will be the final decider between these two storied NASCAR heavyweights.

"It doesn't take much right now," says Stewart. "It's one spot, if a guy wins the race. We're doing exactly what we need to do. I'm really confident right now."

Neither Edwards or Stewart are strangers to success at Homestead-Miami. Stewart won the Pennzoil 400 in 1999 and 2000 and clinched both his 2002 and 2005 Cup Championships here. Edwards, who holds the all-time record for best average finish at Homestead, won the Chase finale in 2008 and 2010, but he's yet to clinch his first Sprint Cup title. Will this be his year at Homestead-Miami Speedway?

"For the sport in general, I don't think there's a better place to go than Homestead to fight for this championship," says Edwards.

It all happens in a few days during Ford Championship Weekend November 18th-20th at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Who will be crowned this year? Will it be the consistent and persistent Edwards, determined to capture his first title? Or will the streaking Stewart, on fire after winning four of the last nine Sprint Cup races, win his third Cup? Only three points divide the two drivers, but there can only be one champion. 3..2..1..Homestead. The Chase Ends Here!
