Homestead-Miami Speedway 2004

Greg Biffle, earning the pole in the Daytona 500 in his sophomore season, took the checkered flag at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Biffle’s teammate, Kurt Busch captured his first NEXTEL Cup Series championship in the first Chase for the NASCAR Nextel Cup. Busch’s win over Jimmie Johnson in 2004 was the closest points race in NASCAR history.
