A high performance driving experience held on a closed road course with managed passing rules. Enjoy a full day program where most participants bring their own sporting cars and are allowed to drive them on the course in conjunction with focused instruction, monitoring, and are grouped by ability and experience. Florida Trackdays
Open track day for motorcyclists of all riding abilities. There will be three groups (Novice, Intermediate, & Advanced) divided into 15-20 minute on-track sessions all day. Instruction on and off the track will be provided for all groups with a classroom setting for novices. No admission fee for spectators. No racing license required. Sailfish Cup Awards Gala – Jungle Island/South Beach – 6 p.m.
The Sailfish Cup was created to celebrate the Championship finale of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Homestead-Miami Speedway, while also kicking off South Florida’s sailfish-tournament season. Hosted by NASCAR President Mike Helton, the Gala is an evening of philanthropy, reflection and celebration and will conclude with the awarding of the Bill France Jr. Memorial Sailfish Cup Trophy that honors the late NASCAR founder. Live and silent auctions will benefit the NASCAR Foundation and “Speediatrics” children’s’ ER services at Homestead Hospital.
