Miami’s Montoya Charges into NASCAR Championship Contention (Nov. 20-22)
South Florida’s own Juan Pablo Montoya and NASCAR’s best headed west to tackle the Infineon Raceway in Northern California’s wine country while the stars of the IndyCar Series battled it out at Iowa Speedway. Montoya moved into the Top 12 in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship. Dario Franchitti took the checkers at Iowa where he won in 2007 on his way to the championship. The Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series raced at Mid-Ohio.
