Have you ever wanted to burn rubber on an actual NASCAR track? Compete against your friends, enemies, or just random strangers down our 1/8 mile pit road… legally.
Fast Lane Fridays is the new Speedway TnT and now it is bigger and better than ever! Beginning on August 23rd and continuing the first Friday of every month, Fast Lane Friday’s is the place to show off your ride in a safe and legal environment. All you need is a street-legal car, a valid driver’s license, proof of registration/insurance and a no holds bar attitude and you’re in!

Programming: Live entertainment and specialized programming each week
Weather Permitting: We can’t control the weather, but we can control the schedule. Fast Lane Fridays will take place on the first Friday of every month. If weather doesn't permit, then it takes place the following Friday and so on and so forth. After every month, the schedule starts again on the first Friday of the new month.
Who: From families to car clubs, we have space for everyone
Just Drag Racing? This isn’t just about drag racing, this is about celebrating cars and their ability to go fast. Fast Lane Fridays is the new party at HMS. Think of us as a blank piece of paper, where you can create your own party.
Is there an age restriction? Event is open to all ages but you must be at least 18 to race. Not 18? Don’t worry; Fast Lane Fridays isn’t short on entertainment. Bring your car and show it off, who knows whose interest you’ll spark. Spectators are not only welcome they are encouraged. Get a bird’s eye view from elevated Pit Road cabanas that overlook the 1/8 mile pit road track.
Car Restriction: All vehicles must be street-legal and drivers must have a valid driver’s license.
Driver Equipment: Drivers must wear sleeved shirts, pants and close-toes shoes. Call 305-230-5374 for more information.
What do we have to pay and what does that allow? Driver’s must pay $20 to participate (as many runs as possible). Spectators must pay $10 in order to watch and enter the facility. Children under 12 must pay $5.
Drag Race Timing System: We have a Christmas-tree starting device and a laser timing system which allows for real-time performance results. There is also a timing scoreboard
What do you need to know in advance?
- Cars may not run air conditioning during competition (to avoid A/C water drips)
- Rid trunk of loose items
- Keep windows rolled up
- Seat belts worn at all times
- No passengers in vehicle
- Participants are not allowed to consume alcohol
- Valid vehicle registration and driver’s license required
- Convertible vehicles require drivers to wear a helmet
- Participating cars sound restriction: 103 d.B. or less
Are concessions available?
The Paddock Cafe is open to purchase food and beverage (burgers, hot dogs, chips, candy, soda, etc.).
