MIAMI - Homestead-Miami Speedway will light up the night this Saturday, January 31, with the Blacklight Run glowing around the grounds that host NASCAR’s Championship events. Check-in for the run will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, and the run will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The Blacklight Run is a unique night 5K fun run focused less on speed and more on UV Neon Glowing fun with friends and family. Glowing participants come from all different ages, shapes, sizes and speeds; every participant will get “glowed” and has the time of their life. Participants may register at www.blacklightrun.com/miami-2015 with a standard or VIP registration. Registration for the event includes a donation to Kendra’s Kisses, a local charity benefitting pediatric cancer.
A standard registration is $20 until January 28, with participants receiving a commemorative white Blacklight Run t-shirts, a Blacklight Run glow in the dark temporary tattoo, a Blacklight Run race bib, donation to a local charity, a Blacklight Run glow pack given at the finish line and admission to the Blacklight Run After Party. After January 28, the standard registration will be $40.
The VIP registration is $45 until January 28, with participants receiving everything listed above in the standard registration, as well as a VIP shirt, two LED jelly rings, two glow packs, LED shades and access to a VIP start chute at the beginning of the course. After January 28, the VIP registration will be $75.
Participants are encouraged to wear a white shirt, and will run through the three-mile course around the Homestead-Miami Speedway grounds being covered with UV Neon Glow Powder in the Blacklight Zones designated throughout the course.For more information, visit www.BlacklightRun.com or call (480) 447-4569.
