MIAMI – Homestead-Miami Speedway announced today that there is a new addition to the growing list of promotional partners for the track, which hosts Ford Championship Weekend, the final race weekend in all three of NASCAR’s premier series. The Ticket Clinic, a law firm with offices throughout South Florida and affiliates nationwide, will be the presenting sponsor of Homestead-Miami Speedway’s “Fast Lane Friday,” as well as a promotional partner of Ford Championship Weekend.
As part of the sponsorship agreement, the Ticket Clinic will be present at the remaining 2014 “Fast Lane Friday” events, on September 5, October 3, November 21 and December 5, to promote their services as well as the 2014 Ford Championship Weekend, which will be held November 14-16.
The Ticket Clinic is one of the first law firms in the nation to concentrate on defending those persons charged with any traffic offense. For more than 25 years, the lawyers at The Ticket Clinic have defended more than one million traffic offenses. The Ticket Clinic has 22 offices located throughout Florida in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, St. Lucie, Orange, Hillsborough, Lee, Osceola and Volusia counties.
Law enforcements and advocacy groups long have sought safe alternatives to illegal street racing that plagues South Florida roadways. To combat this dangerous activity, Homestead-Miami Speedway created “Fast Lane Friday”, a legal drag racing event open to all car enthusiasts 18 and older with a valid driver’s license and proof of registration/insurance. Drivers will be able to race their cars against other street-legal cars on the drag strip as many times as they would like throughout the night.
“Fast Lane Friday” is back this Friday, September 5, at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Tickets to race in “Fast Lane Friday” are $20 for participants and $10 for spectators coming to watch the event. Children 12 and younger get in for free, and concessions will be available for purchase. Homestead-Miami Speedway’s cooler policy applies, which allows fans to bring in soft-sided coolers measuring up to 14x14x14 inches, as well as lightweight backpacks.
