GRAND-AM Daytona Prototype (DP) drivers Ozz Negri and Alex Popow attended Calle Ocho, giving media interviews, signing autographs and participating in Q & As in advance of next month’s Grand Prix of Miami (April 28-29) at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Negri and his No. 60 Michael Shank Racing Daytona Prototype, along with fellow South Floridian John Pew, won the prestigious Rolex 24 at Daytona earlier this year and are looking for a podium finish at their “home track” in April.  Negri had a busy day Sunday, finishing in a triathlon before his appearance at Calle Ocho.

Popow, who helped drive his Ft. Lauderdale-based No. 8 Starworks Ford/Riley Daytona Prototype team to a runner-up finish at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, was equally busy – he left Calle Ocho to drive to Sebring for auto testing.
