Fabulous Forecast for Saturday’s “Grand Prix of Miami” & “Kia 200”

On Saturday, Homestead-Miami Speedway will host Race 2 of the 2011 GRAND-AM campaign featuring the Daytona Prototypes and Grand Touring classes Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates drivers Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas—winners of the 2010 Grand Prix of Miami and the overall GRAND-AM Championship —look to continue their winning ways after winning the season opener at Daytona. Tickets are available starting at $25, kids 12 & under are FREE, and all tickets include paddock access and FREE parking via HomesteadMiamiSpeedway.com and (866) 409-RACE. Fans are welcome to bring in their own food and drink in a 14x14x14 cooler, with unlimited re-entry to the Speedway to allow for restocking from tailgates.
GRAND-AM racing is America’s most competitive sports car series, but the allure doesn’t stop at our borders. Broadcast internationally, a global fan base is set to enjoy Grand Prix of Miami Weekend in temperatures ranging from 65 degrees to 79 degrees under the Florida sunshine. The “Grand Prix of Miami” debuted in 1983 in Miami’s Bayfront Park and moved to Homestead-Miami Speedway in 1995.
