“Developing a cost efficient ladder program has been my goal for awhile,” said ROTAX technical director Don Moormeister. “We are training our drivers to be competitive at a national level in karting and, when old enough, helping them with their first experience in cars.”
The weekend schedule will include a Friday official practice, Saturday-Sunday format for Qualifying, Pre-Final and Final race each day. Seven classes will compete at Homestead Karting including a newly formed DD 2 Masters class. This class will also compete at the 2010 ROTAX Grand Finals for the first time.
