Driver Meet-and-Greet, Ticket and Pace Car Giveaways, “93 Rock Squad”

Homestead-Miami Speedway kicks off “Grand Prix of Miami” week on Wednesday, March 3, with the “Grand Prix Pre-Party” at Monty’s South Beach from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Grand-Am Racing drivers will be on hand to greet fans prior to the March 6 “Grand Prix of Miami”—which last fall at Homestead-Miami delivered one of the closest Championship finishes in series history. Admission at Monty’s is FREE and fans will have a chance to win race tickets to the Grand Prix of Miami, as well as race-day Pace Car rides and an “Honorary Pit Crew” experience. Tickets for the March 6 “Grand Prix of Miami” will be on sale at Monty’s and are just $20 with all kids 12 and under admitted FREE of charge.

MORE: Celebrating its 11th season of competition, Grand-Am Racing has established itself as the most competitive professional road-racing series in North America and counts among its all-time roster many of the top drivers in the world, among them: NASCAR Sprint Cup Champions Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart, and Juan Pablo Montoya; IndyCar Series Champions Dario Franchitti and Scott Dixon; three-time Indy 500 winner/“Dancing with the Stars” Champion Helio Castroneves; and “Grey’s Anatomy” star Patrick Dempsey.

Kids FREE: Homestead-Miami Speedway is the only venue ever to host all of North America’s premier motorsports Championships, and we’re doing it again in 2010 as THE Championship Track will be the site of both the IZOD IndyCar Championship (Oct. 1-2) and NASCAR’s Ford Championship Weekend (Nov. 19-21), as well as the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series on March 6.
