This Sunday Afternoon: A Party Brewin' with NASCAR Viewing, at Xtreme Indoor Karting
Join Homestead-Miami Speedway this Saturday night, Sept. 6, for its first-ever "Chase for the Sprint Cup" viewing/karting party. Catch NASCAR's Rock & Roll 400 race under the lights at Richmond on the big screens, and take to the track yourself for some serious karting competition. In addition, sign up on site to receive the official HMS e-newsletter, and we'll take your photo with the NASCAR showcar and 2008 Sprint Cup Championship Trophy.
The festivities begin at 7 p.m. at Xtreme Indoor Karting (5300 N. Powerline Road - Ft. Lauderdale). Richmond is the final race before NASCAR's Chase playoff field is set, after which it's a 10-race battle culminating at Homestead-Miami Speedway with Ford Championship Weekend, Nov. 14-16.
On Saturday night, party attendees making up the Top 12 karting qualifiers will compete in a 20-lap race, with the first-place winner receiving an official trophy, two Champions Club tickets good for both the Craftsman Truck Series and Nationwide Series races, and an HMS Prize Pack.
Each of the Top 12 participants will receive tickets to the Craftsman Truck Series finale, and Homestead-Miami Speedway will provide an opportunity to win a an autographed Dale Earnhardt Jr. framed picture for those fans who register to receive the HMS e-newsletter, keeping fans up to date on track activities and driver news.
