Kevin Harvick, driver of the No. 4 Budweiser Chevrolet, was crowned the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion and winner of the 20th Annual Ford EcoBoost 400.

    Six NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams and more than 15 of the top NASCAR Sprint Cup Series cars tested their cars at Homestead-Miami Speedway today in preparation of the Ford EcoBoost 400, November 16. The two-day session will conclude on Wednesday, Oct. 29. Seven of the eight drivers in the Eliminator Round of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup took their cars to the track today to test and tune their cars as much as they can before heading to South Florida in November, where they could possibly be one of the Championship 4 drivers racing for the title at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

    Kyle Busch Captains A Different Type of Speed Machine

    NASCAR driver Kyle Busch is no stranger to speed. On Monday, he experienced a different type of speed – in a different type of vessel. Homestead-Miami Speedway teamed up with the Miss GEICO Superboat team today to teach Busch how to pilot one of the fastest boats in the world. Captaining the Miss GEICO Superboat, Busch hit speeds of nearly 150 mph on the waters of Biscayne Bay in Miami, driving with the Miss GEICO Superboat throttleman Scott Begovich, an eight-time world champion.
