Tickets For Ford Championship Weekend On Sale May 4

This year, Ford Championship Weekend returns to Homestead-Miami Speedway, November 18-20, to once again make its mark on history as NASCAR crowns champions in the Sprint Cup Series, XFINITY Series and Camping World Truck Series. Tickets for the three-day championship event will go on sale to the public this Wednesday, May 4.

    There was no champagne flowing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship Friday night, simply because the new champion isn’t of age yet. History was made at Homestead-Miami Speedway, as 19-year-old Erik Jones clinched the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship by finishing 6th in the Ford EcoBoost 200. He became the youngest championship winner in the 20-year history of the series, at 19 years, 5 months and 21 days.

    Zachary Levi, star of NBC’s Heroes Reborn, will complement the celebrity dignitaries at Homestead-Miami Speedway for Ford Championship Weekend (November 20-22), as it was announced today Levi will sing the National Anthem prior to the Ford EcoBoost 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship finale on Sunday, November 22.

    Homestead-Miami Speedway Introduces "Banana Caramel Champanada" for Fans at Ford Championship Weekend

    New for the 2015 Ford Championship Weekend, Homestead-Miami Speedway is introducing a specialty food item: the “Banana Caramel Champanada.” A dessert twist on an empanada, the Champanada is a banana-lover’s dream. The Champanada consists of caramelized plantains in fresh-made banana pudding, wrapped in a crisp, flaky crust, drizzled with Carmel sauce and dusted with powdered sugar and crushed Nilla wafers.

    Homestead-Miami Speedway Partners with Jason Taylor Foundation

    Jason Taylor is one of the most recognizable names in South Florida, not just for the football prowess that he displayed during his 13 seasons with the Dolphins, but also for all of the philanthropic work he has done away from the gridiron through the Jason Taylor Foundation, which was established in 2004. For the past 20 years, Homestead-Miami Speedway has been serving the local community as well, helping to revitalize an area ravaged by Hurricane Andrew. The track is now synonymous with NASCAR and championship racing. Today, the two entities announced a partnership which will commence this upcoming weekend during Ford Championship Weekend.
