This year, Ford Championship Weekend returns to Homestead-Miami Speedway, November 18-20, to once again make its mark on history as NASCAR crowns champions in the Sprint Cup Series, XFINITY Series and Camping World Truck Series. Tickets for the three-day championship event will go on sale to the public this Wednesday, May 4.

A 15th-place finish for Johnson allowed the driver of the No. 48 Lowes Chevrolet to join Cale Yarborough in the record book as the only two winners of three-straight titles in NASCAR's top series.

    Carl Edwards did everything he could Saturday night at Homestead-Miami Speedway, going to the front and winning in the Ford 300. But Clint Bowyer was not to be denied, scoring a solid fifth-place finish to secure the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series championship.
